Terms and EULA

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Deskbar, the app you download, and the licence you get when you buy Deskbar Pro. They are written to be read. If something is unclear, write to hello@deskbar.app before you rely on it.

Who you are dealing with

Deskbar is made by Petre Chitashvili, a private individual in Georgia, who publishes it under the brand AppifySheets. "We" and "us" on this page mean him.

Where things stand

Deskbar Pro is not on sale yet. Until the checkout opens, every release is free to use with all features on, and the sections below about buying, keys and refunds do not apply yet. They describe the licence you will get when you buy.

The free tier and the trial

You may use the free tier of Deskbar at no charge. The first time you run it, you also get every Pro feature for 14 days. When the trial ends, the app drops to the free tier and keeps working.

Your Deskbar Pro licence

Deskbar Pro costs $19, paid once, with no subscription. The licence covers every 2.x release of Deskbar. A later major version (3.0 onwards) is not part of this purchase.

A licence is for one person. You may use Deskbar Pro on any number of computers that you yourself use, but you may not share your key or let anyone else use it. A business buying for its staff needs one licence for each person who uses it.

Your licence key is sent to the email address you buy with, and that address is part of the key. You may not sell, give away or publish your key, get around or remove the licence check, or distribute Deskbar or a changed version of it.

The source code

The source code is published separately under the PolyForm Strict License 1.0.0, with an extra permission for contributions, as set out in the Deskbar repository. That licence covers the source. These terms cover the app you download and the Pro licence.

Buying through Paddle

Once the checkout is live, Deskbar Pro is sold by Paddle, which acts as reseller and merchant of record. You buy from Paddle, Paddle charges any VAT or sales tax, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the payment.

Refunds

Because the trial lets you use every feature before you pay, a purchase is final once your licence key has been issued, except where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund. The refund policy has the details.

No warranty

Deskbar is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be free of faults or suit every setup. Nothing here takes away rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer and that cannot be excluded.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.

Ending the licence

If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must stop using Deskbar Pro.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you bought applies to that purchase. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.
